Large National Health Plan Increased Adherence Metrics with an End-of-the-Year Push
As an end-of-year push within a tight timeframe, a large national health plan sought to identify and target Medicare beneficiaries for a medication adherence program. The plan wanted to educate its members on the meaning of adherence, learn about their barriers, and ask about their satisfaction.
By working with the VP engagement team, the plan experienced a 1-2 Star improvement across medication adherence categories and an 18-25% improvement in fill rates for those contacted.
National Health Plan Used Targeted Member Outreach to Close 48% of Its Diabetes Gaps In Care
One of the nation’s largest health plans sought to increase health outcomes and close known diabetes gaps in care for over 190,000 targeted members.
Virgin Pulse partnered with the plan to create a data-driven, multi-channel outreach campaign designed to drive targeted actions. This coordinated approach drove significant results including: 48% of all gaps in care had been closed and 86% provided intent to complete health actions.
