1. What ROI can I expect from Virgin Pulse?

Virgin Pulse is all about using smart data methods to figure out ROI. We're comparing members vs. non-members using best practice statistical methods. To ensure comparability, we employ propensity score matching to create cohorts with similar characteristics. The assessment spans three years, with the pre-launch year serving as the initial control group.  

Now, the real magic happens with a special statistical technique in which we nail down the cost savings between the two groups. Finally, we stack up these savings against all the program costs, incentives included, to calculate your ROI. 

2. What does the implementation process look like?

For employers, we usually aim for an implementation timeline of 100-120 days. To make implementation successfully for you and your employees, key decisions around platform structure, eligibility data, incentives, and how you'll communicate changes are needed as input for the 100–120 day timeline. 

There’s also configuration and quality checks to be made on our end, to make sure everything's smooth sailing before launch. Our project management team is committed to seeing you launch successfully every step of the way.   

3. What is the sales process like at Virgin Pulse?

The sales process at VP is a consultative, client-first approach. From the first conversation to last, we are partnering with prospective clients in a collaborative manner to understand their challenges, vision, and desired goals. As we learn about each prospect, we are then able to align and recommend our products/ services that are most relevant and impactful to the challenges and desired outcomes.  

The sales timeline can take anywhere from 6 – 12+ months. A few steps along the sales process include discovery call (learning about each org), member demo experience (platform demo), additional demo’s (deep dives; Admin Portal), MAP conversations (mutual alignment plan), client reference’s, leadership calls, and security reviews. 

4. How much does Virgin Pulse cost?

Virgin Pulse has a volume-based pricing model for our core platforms, but there are different pricing options available depending on product/service. Primarily, our pricing consists of Per Employee/Eligible Per Year. Other pricing options are available – ex: Per Participant; Per Unit; or Milestone-based pricing.  

Pricing terms are dependent on the product/service being purchased. We will work with each prospective buyer to understand their budget and preferred billing cadence and accommodate as best as we can.
