When you think of a "disability," chances are you think of mobility impairments. But many disabilities include conditions that are not always apparent to the outside world.
Also known as "invisible disabilities," these conditions are more common than you may realize. It's estimated that 1 in 10 U.S. adults are living with a hidden disability, such as anxiety, PTSD, ADD, ADHD, diabetes, chronic fatigue, cancer and HIV/AIDS1.
